Up and running in ~5 minutes

Four quick steps: create your account, install PokéCurator, grab your sync link, and switch on automatic sync from PGSharp. Do this on your Android phone.

Before you begin

A couple of things come from you — PokéCurator is a personal tool, not a paid service.

🔑 Your own AI API key The AI coach runs on your own key (OpenAI or a compatible provider). You pay your provider directly — usually just pennies per session. Have your key ready to paste into Settings.
📲 PGSharp Pro Automatic sync uses PGSharp's export feature, which needs a PGSharp Pro subscription — a separate purchase directly from PGSharp. Install it on your Android phone first.
Already testing with me? You're all set — current users keep using the shared APIs and existing setup. The requirements above are only for new trainers getting started on their own.

You'll also need an invite code from whoever shared PokéCurator with you.

Create your account

Open the PokéCurator link you were given and tap Create account. You'll need:

Fill everything in and submit to land in your new, empty collection.

Add it to your home screen

So PokéCurator opens like a real app — full screen, one tap — install it to your Android home screen:

  1. Open PokéCurator in Chrome
  2. Tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner
  3. Tap Add to Home screen (or Install app)
  4. Tap Add — the PokéCurator icon lands on your home screen
From now on, launch PokéCurator from that icon instead of the browser.

Get your personal sync link

Inside PokéCurator, open Settings and find Auto-sync with PGSharp. Tap Copy to copy your personal sync URL.

Keep this link private. It's unique to your account — anyone with it could send data to your collection.

Tip: paste it somewhere handy for a moment — you'll need it in the next step.

Turn on sync in PGSharp

Last step — tell the game to send your collection to PokéCurator. Open Pokémon GO with PGSharp and log in.

a. Tap the PGSharp menu on the left edge of the game, then tap the gear (Settings) icon.

b. Scroll down the PGSharp settings and tap Export Account Data (Beta) near the bottom of the list.

c. Flip the toggle to On, tick Send data to server (on every login), and paste your personal sync link from Step 3 into the box.

Leave “Save data to local file” unchecked — you only need “Send data to server.”

d. Tap TEST CONNECTION. A green 200 means PokéCurator received your data. Tap OK to finish.

🎉 That's it — you're synced!

From now on, just play: catch Pokémon, open PokéCurator, and your collection is already up to date. Every sync unlocks fresh recommendations and insights.
