Setup Guide

Welcome! PokeCurator is your personal Pokemon GO collection coach. It reads your collection, tells you exactly what to keep or transfer, tracks your living Pokedex, builds PvP teams, finds raid counters, and more. This guide gets you set up in about five minutes. You will need an invite code from whoever shared the app with you, and PGSharp installed on your Android phone.

Create your account

Open pokecurator.onrender.com in Chrome, tap Create account, and fill in:

  1. Display name — whatever you want to be called
  2. Email and a password you will remember
  3. Invite code — the code from the person who invited you

Add it to your home screen

So PokeCurator opens like a real app (full screen, one tap), add it to your Android home screen:

  1. In Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu (top-right)
  2. Tap Add to Home screen (or Install app)
  3. Tap Add — the PokeCurator icon lands on your home screen

Get your personal sync link

This link is how your game sends your collection to PokeCurator. Open the Settings tab and find Auto-sync with PGSharp, then tap Copy to copy your personal URL.

Your personal sync link lives under Auto-sync with PGSharp. Keep it private — it is unique to you.
Heads up: treat this link like a password. Anyone with it could push data to your collection. You can tap Reset link any time to generate a new one.

Turn on sync in PGSharp

Last step — tell the game to send your collection to PokeCurator. Open Pokemon GO with PGSharp, then follow along on your phone:

a. Tap the PGSharp menu on the left edge of the game, then tap the gear (Settings) icon.

b. Scroll down the PGSharp settings and tap Export Account Data (Beta).

Find Export Account Data (Beta) near the bottom of the list.

c. Flip the toggle to On, tick Send data to server (on every login), and paste your personal sync link from Step 3 into the box.

Turn it On, check Send data to server, and paste your link.
Leave “Save data to local file” unchecked — you only need “Send data to server.”

d. Tap TEST CONNECTION. A green 200 means PokeCurator received your data. Tap OK to finish.

A 200 response confirms the link works.
That's it! From now on your collection updates automatically every time you log into the game. Just open PokeCurator to see fresh Keep / Transfer advice.
